My son Daniel and myself came to Germany from Russia in 2015. We actually live in Bönen but often visit Unna. I’m an artist and I get much inspiration for my artworks in Unna. Some of my pictures for example show the old town centre of Unna from various perspectives.
I’d already been to Germany before 2015, but at that time as a tourist – it was a different feeling to today. Daniel feels completely at home here in Germany.
Vlada Monosova is a painter; Unna’s old town is also one of her motifs.
