Historical locations | Hedwig Church in Unna-Massen

The Hedwigskirche [Hedwig Church], consecrated in 1963, was built for Catholic emigrants and refugees from the East. The patron of the church, St. Hedwig, is a Silesian saint.
The closure of the Landesstelle at Unna-Massen im 2009 also meant the end of the Hedwigskirche. For this reason the decision was taken to pass on the church in 2014 to the Coptic Orthodox community.
